  1. That's very expensive I reckon. It it is the test function for the dash in the last picture.
  2. Pretty car. Good luck with it.
  3. I thought this is what parents were for...
  4. Oh wow. If I had the budget for this... That is gorgeous.
  5. I figured. Just throwing it out there. The tyres aren't even attached to the rims at this stage.
  6. Yeah, your price might be a bit high at the moment. See the amount of time it's taken this one to get sold:
  7. $700? 5 E39 Style 81s, 4 brand new tyres, 1 used-in-good-condition tyre.
  8. I have some E39 17" style 81s here with brand new tyres which I haven't put on yet. I'd then keep my 18" BBS wheels instead. I know it's not quite what you're looking for, but it's there.

    Quick rant thread.

This is the case at SCA in Silverdale.
  10. Is the situation really that bad with 'newer' BMWs? What counts as newer in this context? E60s? Newer than E46/E39s all rubbish? Is any of this related to BMWs getting more complicated and repairers not keeping up with evolving technologies?
  11. Gap insurance is really common for leased cars in the US. Some lending institutions mandate its purchase even. I get your point about paying cash, I hate debt too.
  12. Gap insurance is in case you total it and have finance, it'll cover the cost of the finance. Basically, with gap insurance, if you total it and owe any money, you walk away and the debt is paid.

    Quick rant thread.

Nuts dude. I paid $30ish for mine!
  14. Knocking on wood and keeping fingers crossed for you. Good luck!
  15. For that price, if you're in Auckland, pay a tow service eh.
  16. $962 from Auckland to Christchurch http://www.haulplus.co.nz/index.aspx
  17. Pretty car. Good luck with the sale!
  18. Thanks for that. I did expect to pay my excess, as that's not unreasonable.
  19. Silly question, but I haven't crashed a car in a few country-moves now. How does insurance work in New Zealand for this kind of thing? If I have full coverage and hit another car due to negligence on my part, will my insurance still fork out for it?
  20. I have one 2012 and one 2013 left. I sold two 2012s recently. 2013 has a nice fresh battery now, actually works. ;p If I was mounting one of these as a dash/radio/console, I'd do the no-battery module though.
  21. Cool. Finally something to do with these N7s sitting here. (Woes of a computer geek...)
  22. If you want to go the DIY route as others suggest, check these folks out: http://www.stockinteriors.com/items.asp?MakeId=41&ModelId=436&MainCatId=7&Desc=BMW_325i_Headliner
  23. Note FCP will actually quite often 'negotiate' over shipping. Their automated calculator is weird and you can sometimes talk them down on shipping just by asking.
  24. Annoyed with you. I'd have bought yours!
