  1. I know of an exceptional 330ci the owner would be willing to trade (plus Kidney) for an E30 / E28 🤣 Seriously though, a nice F20 would be a great daily.
  2. Loving the commitment / attention to detail! 💪
  3. Get an E91 325i Msport - you will have plenty of quality ones to choose from at your price point. Enough power too at 160kw and BMW is all about the 6cyls. The LCI / Facelift (2009 onwards) look even better but come with a 3.0 engine which isn't quite as reliable.
  4. Didn't move at $39k, won't move at $59k. What do they think it is - a 1988 325i? 🤣
  5. Instagram Photo credit to @alpinagrun
  6. Its a song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18cW_yHo3PY Good approach IMO, now you can take your pick of clean but less desirable E30s and build it up 👍
  7. M54B30 has got to shuffle along in an E30! Certed for everything except engine, and looks like needs a little love but solid base for a wicked sedan. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-3123801682.htm
  8. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/alloy-wheels/listing/3123460694 $2250 reserve for 15” weaves.
  9. Pffft , does not even have Xenons 😉
  10. I mean you can tell it is mint, but if a dealer wants to put a $20k price tag on a 325i auto, regardless of kms, they could at least do a paint correction on it...
  11. VTNZ huh - on Tuesday they commented that they checked my oil level and it was fine - my oil light came on about 30 minutes later 🤣 needed almost a litre (M54 life...)
  12. Yeah, wouldn't take too much to get it sorted. Was listed for ages late last year, kind of wonder if there is something wrong with it as $13k for a decent looking certed M52 manual Coupe is a good buy.
  13. @Olaf Indeed - this is why I'm saving my pocket money to make the transition in the next 9 months or so (when we are looking to buy another house with a garage). I'm thinking (hoping) about $35K should do it 🤣
  14. If you've lined up a B25 and tranny, I'd be looking at this little beauty to re-power https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/3033086804?bof=8qTjifg7
  15. It was an auto 320i sedan though. Best approach is probably to spam the E30 Facebook groups and wave some cash around and tempt all the lads with projects / decent cars that never would otherwise see the market...
  16. Straight through a VTNZ WOF with no advisories - what I had hoped, but always disconcerting watch men in overalls prod and poke your car for 30 minutes muttering to each other.
  17. This was also at Caffeine and Classics - even better in the flesh, interior was really on point.
  18. Not bad - took me about 5 days to re-colour my E46 interior - will be looking at this (L Seat) route if / when I get into an E30.
  19. @Bennyboy haha, just saw that on Instagram- beast!
  20. I saw this at Caffeine and Classics today, good looking car. lots of positives to it but I would have been budgeting a full respray for sure...
  21. At Caffeine and a classics this morning. Monster turn out but not enough BMWs. Not sure if this is a members car? Average photo but car was stunning, top condition, leather stitched dash etc - absolute beauty got me day dreaming about an E24...
