  1. Looks like a very nice car indeed but there's another (not as nice) Auto 325i vert that's been sitting on Facebook Market place for months failing at $20K. As nice as it is, the ceiling for an Auto PFL vert with 200+ kms on reps can't be more than $25k.

Looking fresh! anything scary lingering under those e36(??) side skirts?

I have an unopened loaf of Vogels original mixed grain sandwich in the freezer. Feeling blessed haha
  5. The Bronzit 2 door does look very nice, but $15k is certainly pushing it for a 316i - this has been sitting around at $13,500 for a few months (may have sold looking at the unanswered questions) as clean, probably cleaner and in Alpineweiss II with grey interior as well. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/3145204342?bof=ngFPe7Zq Wonder what a clean facelift 325i manual 2 door in a good colour is going to cost me 😮
  6. Needed a refurb too... can't you get them refurbed on Ebay for $750-800? I would be getting a Nardi or something for less money.
  7. Looks like a vape holder instead of a cup holder haha Strong asking price for a high km 2002 example with several defects and no mention of service history...
  8. Similar to housing market I guess. Supply, demand, hype, FOMO and cheap money. Add a bit of nostalgia into the mix, and that these people have a bit of coin (or equity) now. I do get it for a mint Tech1/2, but ridiculous when every man and his dog think their scruffy, neglected 318i sedan is now a gold mine. It’s happening to any other desirable jap performance car from the 90s as bad or worse. $40k for a 1JZGTE chaser, anyone?
  9. Yeah, most likely - newer shape Msport wagons tend to be more in the mid 20's and up. E91 is a great shape though, but I would go for a 325i all day. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/325i/listing/3039622482?bof=o9g6gfaT
  10. This is the older E91 shape - this generation 4 cyl 320i motors are not known for their reliability. 325i is same price, more reliable and more powerful.
  11. What are we guessing for the black Tech2? Looks very clean, but not concourse and kind of feels like the recent Mtech frenzy has died down a little. I'm going with $35K.
  12. 2012 is a model changeover year I believe. F31 - (newer shape) yes, buy it E91 - more likely - (old shape) Poor value and a poor engine choice - get a 325i
  13. Style 32's look great on 330ci but still a little tight. If you can get a non staggered set of 18x8 ET20 with 225/40/18 you should be fine. Unless you're talking about the non-dished ones of course!
  14. 8.5 and ET10 is possible but very aggressive and you will need to have stretched tyres, gaurd roll and lots of camber to avoid rubbing. If you're not lowered, it will probably fit but will look pretty Mexiflush. I'm on 18x8.5 ET30 with 235/40/18 and I'm very very close to rubbing front and rear and will rub on big dips at speed (and that's an empty car with 5kg / 8kg springs). Unless you're all in on these wheels, I would find something in the 35 range (stock offset is actually in the high 40's range)
  15. I had both my side skirts painted for $400 (including removal, assembly and new clips etc) - thought it was spendy at the time, but maybe not. This was at Scratchbuster's in Wairau.
  16. Turbo definitely makes sense for heavier / lazier cars and autos. Less of an issue with manuals I believe as you tend to hold the gears longer.
  17. Like just the screen? Plenty of OEM looking Android options for E39 / E46 - I'm running wireless carplay in mine.
  18. Cert or not, I think for $8K it will be gone very quick - Tidyish, clean interior, M42, manual with some quality parts on it... Looks better than half of the slower 320i's *trying* for $10k+
  19. Was one of these at Caffeine and Classics in AKL on Sunday (along with 500 odd other beauties) - a stunning design - simplicity is best!
