Greg111 13 Report post Posted April 10, 2012 "Phantom" black Great car but when time comes to cleaning it's a complete bitch, finger oils can burn the paint, bird poo can not land on it or the paints f**ked within minutes. It comes with its own cleaning kit to assist the bitchyness of the job.
5amchris 45 Report post Posted April 10, 2012 LOL my brother works at Jeff Gray PN, He does all the car grooming, Yea he said it was a bitch cleaning that thing =D
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted April 10, 2012 "Phantom" black Really ? sh*t. That's a Holden / HSV Colour, puts me off a bit.I was wondering how the hell you would clean it, and more importantly how you would buff out and scratches or marks. Chris - apologies to your brother if there were any "un-necessary" marks on the leather seats !

m325i 709 Report post Posted April 13, 2012 You know how new cars have that lovely leather on the steering wheel? But on older cars it goes shining, smooth and hard? I used amour all multipurpose cleaner on mine and it made an entire towel black. But it has restored my wheel to that soft awesome texture of a new wheel. I will try and show pics. Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 13, 2012 Yeah, the steering wheel is one of the number most important things to clean!

kevinator9 57 Report post Posted April 14, 2012 Finally got my exhaust sorted. The original had long past its use by date and slowly becoming louder and louder. Eventually it got ripped off by Massy Uni parking traps making it sound stupidly obnoxious. Now with a brand new muffler and all brand new mounts the car is quieter and smoother than ever! Allanw 1071 Report post Posted April 15, 2012 i put you crook was actually 68 +RUC at $34 = $102ish. I'd only get 500 to 560 in the 525i. could probably squeze it out to 600 if I REALLY tried. 'spose I could turn off the AC too So far, our economy is 2L/100kms better since doing the Vanos seals! Mrs hasn't been driving though
