Hopped up on confidence after fixing the LCM. I delved into repairing the dash. I failed miserably. Pixels are now unreadable. Return spring for the fuel level sender gauge is broken. The problems that were there probably still are. Only thing to note is the gauge cluster appears to be from an e38. So possibly could be contributing to why I can't scan it. Moved onto something back in my skill level. Removed the dash bar to check for anymore wiring that's been tampered with or corrosion. Only one bunch of wires that went to the boot and connected to nothing under the dash. They lead to the boot and don't connect to anything. Nothing else seems to have been effected by the rain getting in. While I was there I cleaned up the surface rust on the dash bar. Good for another few years Cleaned up the footwell surface rust and started putting it back together Now looking for a new gauge cluster Still haven't figured out why I can't scan it. Hoping a new instrument cluster will solve something. Then need to learn how to recode it.

Sometimes I wish I had some kind of coating on my car. Whoever deemed car washing to be a non-essential activity when water restrictions came in has never owned a black car!

After years of lusting after an e36 vert i finally managed convince myself now is the time, i would have loved an M3 but the pocket book didnt stretch that far and to be honest i would get myself in trouble...again. I did however manage to grab a 1996 328 Manual...for 10x less than the specific M3 i have had my eye on for a long time 😂. Its spent its entire life with a surgeon and the while the km’s read 277,000 - yes thats 277k - the service book shows servicing every 15k by Jerry Clayton. Its got 24 years of touch ups to do but the base is great. Flew up to Auckland on Sunday and drove the entire trip back to New Plymouth with the top down. It was one of those trips you will always remember. Looking for a few items now but will post that in market place. Cheers.

Next you'll be telling me Amor All is no good?!?! LOL - then what is the GardX for? If you do a proper cut & polish, you can put on a high quality sealant or wax or even a ceramic coating yourself that will be a light years 12 years better than GardX.

Looks good and won't take much to make it even better!

Lol, its a AC back section, no idea why its so far out, It will go in favour of a twin tip setup. Big fan of the sunflowers, but looking to trade them for some sunflower DS2’s

No pics, but just as I was feeling good about my freshly washed E46 , keeping the E30 lust at bay, I saw who I’m pretty sure was @hybrid race by in a stunning silver tech 1 👌🏼 Sunday in Birkenhead.

Hello...My 2007 130i 6 speed finally arrived from Japan to New Zealand. Currently at the groomers getting ceramic coated. Its a white M Sport so I got the painters to paint that grey rear valance black, and removed the 130i and the m badge! Fitted gunmetal Avanti 11 spoke wheels, flat bottom leather and alcantara steering wheel from Lativa, Genuine BMW short throw gear lever that I scored new sealed bag off Ebay via the USA as well as a Storm Motorwerks weighted gunmetal gear knob from the UK, Pedal Haus aluminum pedal covers from Europe (to be fitted), LUX H8V3 bulbs, new floor mat set, new alcantara hood lining fitted, Gloss black grills etc. Looks like a new car. This will be my daily for work as I had a desire to row gears, gave my E70 35i M Sport to my wife so that will remain our family car and will sell her NZ new X3.

Sorry you had to pass it on but I'm glad you're happy with the outcome. IMHO that was always one of the best looking cars here on BS.

A rusty 325i sedan with holes through the floors and a list of WoF issues as long as your arm has just gone past $6k on a no-reserve auction. Looks nice from the outside, but there is a fair chunk of money required to get this back on the road.
