Has anyone had any experience in dealing with hell bm?

My e36 had a Jatco box which had no value. E46 uses the same box as SMG. -

They have converted two of my cars to manual - 'drive in - drive out' no issues whatsoever, perfect. -
I had an S3 for a few years - constant ~$1000 services, but it was pretty solid.

Cool colour, big sunroof fan, esp on these. Looks tidy. Headlight polish ?

Good feedback, and if DICE dies, it could be an option for me. FYI the DICE unit does almost all of that except the car system stuff. Phone uses a dedicated mic, steering wheel buttons all work, incl answering calls., even Siri, but that does have a lag. Displays track names, stops playback automatically etc. Just seemed weird that for such an old unit that did 'everything' - 10 years later this costs more, with pretty much the same features. Albeit not cloning the CD stacker. It's like no one knew about the Mediabridge.

This is cool - but I have been using a Dice Media Bridge for years now, and it seems to do everything this does and more. Full OEM integration, steering wheel buttons, BT calling, USB input etc. Unless I am missing something (like is this a higher quality BT? Moot with the OEM sound system anyway), I'm not sure why this is worth any premium? EDIT: Is the Mediabridge NLA? Might be. But it was half the price of this.

For posterity - I LOVE IT

I'm already coming around. Definitely reminiscent of the Alfa. Be interesting to see if they LCI it. I'm going to say I like it.

So the perfect mod for an Auckland daily

I reckon this is one of Audi's best designs. Great looking coupe. I do know someone who had to replace their motor (2.0T) in one of these, but since it seems OK (6+ years), the FWD is a bummer in his. Quattro V6 must be quite a nice package! Don't worry, she'll curb them soon, then just repaint silver when you fix them!

I think being colour blind really detracts from this colour.

Coilovers or not on E82 135i? School me!

If you've got the budget - that would be a big upgrade. And you would get a massive portion back if you ever sold it separately. Beat me to it. That is what really kills the idea of coil overs in NZ. Different chassis, but I got Koni 'yellows' recently and am very happy. Post pics -
Do I need a radar detector for inner city 30km zones?

Hi I was wondering if you guys could advise me on battery chargers. Family have a 335i that has been sitting and error codes are from a (slightly) flat battery. I was advised to try a charger. What is the cheapest option that will do the trick? I see they vary quite a bit on TM. It’s not so much for tending, more to actually charge this up. TIA!

My bro had a similar issue - DME died - insanely expensive.Hopefully it's not that!

Cool, but I'd rather have someone make my own spec e30 for $60k

Echo the above about BP and Mobil pricing. I often use Gull as it is my local and significantly cheaper. (E10 obviously hasn't caused me any issues in ~10 years - not sure about economy). But I did notice the other day what a massive price difference there was between Mobil 95 and 98 - it was like 40c! For the first time ever I put a tank of 95 in as it just felt like such a blatant a#% %#@&ing! I thought hold on - That's like a nice lunch! Even if you get slightly worse economy - Gull is so much cheaper.

I've had a trade me alert set up for maybe 3 years now. Never seen a set come up. (Have seen a set or two come ups here though, long time ago). I guess here would be a good bet, but good luck!

I think I may have pulled the grommets out from memory ?

Or even better, use 3m tape.
