Picked these up last night, need to get a few special tools and will then be chucking it all in the wagon. Will try to take some photos to throw in here as well. Using the Bentley manual to guide me along but feel free to share any tips or tricks you know of...

So from what i can see its $75 for the app and $10 - $20 every time you use it, starts to add up pretty quickly, i have torque pro on my tablet which is fine for reading fault codes but doesnt do much else.

Could be a faulty ignition switch, all sorts of weird stuff happens when they start to die.

Pulled out the damaged side vent and put in a new one, also repaired the damaged inner guard, no more scraping at full lock!

Looks like the inside of that hose is perished quite badly, they do that with age, unfortunately the others in your cooling system the same age might not be far behind, good time to do some preventative maintenance!

Supply vacuum to open the valve for the secondary air pump, which pumps extra air through the exhaust on start up to warm the cats up faster, would affect idle if they were the cause of a vacuum leak. Pretty easy to replace as a precaution. -
Did they tell you when you first collected the car that they were unable to balance the wheel?

Once the clutch is done and a few tidy up bits and pieces she will be up for grabs. Will be on here first.

Close, you need to count how many rotations of the driveshaft it takes to turn the wheel one complete rotation.

Regardless of the asking price if you are selling a car of that age, people want to see what sort of condition its in, and if you dont put up decent photos most will assume the worst and not bother to follow it up. A photo of an old photo of a car is pretty much a waste of time on a trade me auction. My 2 cents.

...4 stroke line trimmer, best thing ever! Pi$$es all over any other line trimmer ive owned, more powerful, easier to start, quieter, no smoke, and added bonus, it sounds like a tiny motorbike! (A good one, not a p.o.s. harley) Highly recommended.

Yes, dm flywheels are a wear item and need replacing regularly, and a second hand clutch would be a waste of time, both are available new.

You're on the money price wise for the conversion, worth doing if you are keeping the car for a bit, pretty sure ths engine can stay in for the conversion, make sure whoever does it is up to speed with the coding or you will have issues. Good luck. -
