  1. My old work mates car, its really as amazing as it looks. He kept it pretty tight with 0 expense spared. The new owner is selling it now.
  2. I hear ya ... everything outside of baby and work has gone into glacial pace now the missus is back at work, all of that time we sort of had gone keep up with basic life stuff. Oh and congrats!
  3. Top Gear S23E01 meh .. pretty annoying. Matt was good even though it felt a little bit American topgear. Agreed, Chris Evans is terrible. Extra Gear S01?E01 Felt a lot more natural although I did find Harris probably needs more air time to give him a chance to shine. One small segment in an atom and some forced banter which I didn’t find is his style. I think Extra Gear will be the new topgear... I don’t see Evans doing well mainly because hes too shouty pirate. That stuff works on radio when hosting solo ... not on TV. You just make your other hosts look awrkard
  4. The whole trailing arms are different. z3m / coupe rear arms have far more negative offset to accomodate the wider rear wheels.

    E30+RX7=....?

dude ... I sometimes see your FB posts and saw this one pop up the other day... youve done everything just right aye. Must be a hoot to squeeze the loud pedal on a nice clear day on the twisties.
  6. All BBS road wheels are for a specific vehicle. These are e39 rims.
  7. End of the day can you just replace the bush in the arm ?

I love it .. looks seriously agressive and you have already done the lowering etc to support the look. I actually think you have a go at making your own bumper setup with rear diffuser. Leave the rear bumper stock and get some glass one made up (Dutchy can do this if you have a the part to copy (which you do) ) That way you can do a diffuser into the back. EG this direction
  9. That probably has more to do with the RBs ass intake runner design and not the turbo.
  10. The new one is an s50 oil filter housing ? If so its missing the oil thermostat. You need either the thermostat or bypass valve which will divert 100% of the oil to the cooler. I use an external thermostat as I modified mine to bypass the stock themo as it was causing flow issues. I now have rock stable oil pressure. mine http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/24294-operation-weapons-grade/page-37#entry588597

sweet ride. love the wing, will look badman
  12. Just getting a good rotor and not a sh*t pad compound for the test is key, wouldnt recommend doing it with a new race compound as they need some proper heat cycles at the track first to bed in. You can ruine a pad by doing a test like this without properly cycling it. I've done it and it sucks wasting $450 on a set of pads cause you were being too careless about it.
  13. yeah, were expecting the same as we will be back to driving to work and dropping the little one at day care every morning. The economy is quite something else. Especially coming from the 540i.
  14. its an oil burner ... 540i was traded for a New 2016 CX-5 2.2 diesel turbo (twin turbo) AWD. Handles very BMW like and out of all the SUVs it was the only one that felt not only like a car but a well sorted 3 series. So im very happy in that regard. Has 420nm of torque so throws you back in your seat quite nicely. The 6 speed auto has 80% lockup and shifts as fast as a DSG but without the dreaded DSG pump issues. Ooo and it rev matches on down shifts .. Did look at getting another bimmer and for the price I paid I could of got something pretty nice, but I couldn't quite stretch / stomach paying for a second hand x3 with less spec and 30-40000ks on the clock for the same money it cost to buy new , warrenty and free servicing is quite attractive. The e30 isnt going anywhere so havent walked off from BMW at all. Also working on lots of Rays projects to keep the buzz alive.
  15. It has boost if that counts..
  16. EDIABAS (INPA included) is factory only suit of tools used for module programming and testing. There are lots of clones and copied software floating around. All of which have gone through the butthole of the internet and back out the other side. Many configuration files that come with these have been butchered and setup incorrectly.
  17. Just a side note: for MSS50 you dont need the o2 sensor for wide open throttle operation. I would just pop a bung/bolt into the boss in the exhaust on both sides for now an remove the other remaining sensor and tuck up the wiring. You will have slightly more fueling in the part load zones however it will be fine for racing. Its really only a concern if your worried about economy in the short term which I would say you wont be spending enough time in part load zones for it to even make a difference. Your long term fuel trims will need an adpation reset after you replace the sensors for the ECU to make proper effect of them as ever sensor is different.
  18. The systems is very old now, it works ok but isnt the same as modern systems as far as usability goes. I think the last map update for the Carin system was 2008.
  19. Have sent Ollie a message and directed him towards this thread. I wouldnt suggest producing anything as its a company and trademark. He can sort out the site systems for merch purchase.
