is it the one with the semis? no affiliation to the seller, but thats about the going rate. should be able to flick off the semi slicks easy enough. common size for civics corollas etc other small cars as well as of course other E30s.

mine has been great fun, ended up with full E36 M3 suspension and brakes, M52 in the front. if you have a 328i parts car the only thing you need to buy/mod is a rear section, and bend the front exhaust section in the middle a bit. I have a setup here from mine i no longer need if you are interested.

E39 540 MS - Who would deal with this guy...

bootlid is still japanese spec too -
make sure you check your site coverage on your land too. out here in the Hutt i believe it is 30 or 35%, WCC might allow something else. just because there was a carport there before doesn't mean you can put a garage there, as a carport is not enclosed and therefore not counted in the site coverage. Also, echoing the posts above about the tilt door (mine is tilt, i know where i can park now but would be good to park up harder into the garage. And also make sure the top of the door is 2m + so you can get an SUV or Van in there later down the track. And plenty of power outlets, and i also have spots above the engine bay of the car, backwards opening bonnets on E30 E34 etc block out a lot of light. Hope this helps.

Spotted Neil in his M3 going up SH2, I was driving the blue on blue e46 cabby. Have your wife stand on the brake pedal and look at the back of your car some time

Jeff Grey BMW and Christchurch European - Praises
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to M3_Power's topic in General Discussion
i am pretty unsatisfied with them too, however Jeff Gray in Hawkes Bay are much easier to deal with, i guess i do have friends that work at the one up there. of course, i don't get any of my cars serviced by BMW, just parts. -
so my 1998 E46 doesn't need it done right?

WTB: Manual E36 328i/325i motorsport coupe, up to $8500
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to Rubix's topic in Want to buy
make sure you use a ZF manual and not a G220. recommend fitting new clutch kit and master and slave cylinders since you are in there, second had parts are 20 tyears old and a waste of time fitting -
My Transit learning what a real commercial vehicle does! Meet up with Hans to drop some stuff off

Dion, i can vouch for Sams car as well, have seen it quite a few times. don't be put off by the kms, it only shows it when you sit in the drivers seat and look at the cluster. Admittedly i am a sucker for Calypso Red so i am a little bias. -
i have a minty black one tucked away in non-sunroof. comes with all the black bits like lights and grab handles etc if needed. Often head around the North Island, so can bring up, don't often go to Tauranga but maybe can meet you in Hamilton or Auckland etc? 0273079322 cheers!

M43 is little more than an evolution of the M40 engine. belt went to chain, a few emissions things added, but went to plastic cooling system we all know and hate. bullet proof little unit as long as you keep on top of the plastic cooling. cannot fit M40 metal cooling parts to it though. M42 was first used in E30 and then the early E36 318iS and 318Ti. very popular unit, lost a bit of its charm when fitted into the E36 that it had in the E30, with its different intake manifold and heavier car to move around. Compacts are still a bit of fun if manual. all versions including E30 are chain. My pick of the three, though i do like the M40 as well. have seen some very poorly maintained units over the years that just keep plodding along. M44 is the evolution to the M42. lots of emissions stuff added being an engine that was to take BMW into the new millennium. better AFM setup. DISA valve introduced. more complicated EWS. grew in size by 100cc too. but still very much evident its an evolution, many parts are cross compatible.

nothing more to be added.
