  1. Carjam will only show WOF details up to last change of ownership unless you pay for a report
  2. So my EGR cooler replacement has been re-delayed because the wrong part was ordered... Oh well, got to do my commute yesterday in a Mini Cooper S instead
  3. not sure I'd want a car with an odometer graph like this
  4. 3/4 ain't bad...(red E87 notwithstanding). The blue one is a manual, maybe the only one in NZ?

    Project E39

should be possible to replace the rear lower plate surround panel on the boot lid (saw this on M539 Restorations on YT) for the full euro-spec experience. looking good!
  6. Another VM option for running ISTA that has been recommended for us Mac users is Virtualbox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/VirtualBox Haven’t tried this yet but keen to give it a go as there are no windows computers at my place...
  7. NZ new cars tend to be the worst for this, historically sit around for ages before registration. maybe a little less so now
  8. not saying it's a great deal but 6 years newer is quite a bit in car terms.
  9. That's lovely. There's also a very nice 325is in the same colour that I think belongs to dealer principal at Coombes Johnston, seen it in there a few times
  10. The trailer module may need coding to automatically switch off rear pdc / adjust stability control with trailer attached (via ISTA)
  11. only a year old when it came in so probably ok. agree its a bit pricey. @Gaz front PDC is the only thing i'd miss, has adaptive lights and high beam assist so not a terrible spec
  12. This looks bloody good in space grey and would go nicely with 165kw too. Be a great long distance daily. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-2687187628.htm

    130i

Like the 135i wheels on it, they really are a good looking car. What's happened to your towing eye cover?
  14. This makes me very very happy as a wagon fan. Sit tight and wait for an E61 LCI 530/535d IMO
  15. May be some truth to that, it was >6 weeks until I could get my 335d in for the EGR recall.
  16. 10 owners / 6 different license plates is a good effort...
  17. Doesn't seem to be much out there in the diesel category atm for E61's. Impressive mileage on this 530d but not sure I'd go there. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-2669279541.htm X3 3.0d? (may not be big enough inside) http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-2637405208.htm
  18. N47 issues are oversold IMO. dad’s 2010 320d is now on 225k km without issues, serviced every 25k km
  19. another black 530i E39 Touring in Wellington (tasteful apart from the BMW motorsport stickers)
  20. My understanding is the Japanese nav system is more involved to convert than the UK version, which essentially involves uploading a different map. Eurosurgeon did mine (UK import). Keep in mind that BMW online nav map updates won't be able to be done unless the dealer codes the vehicle. I am going to get that done with mine provided the cost isn't exorbitant. It is possible to setup Connected Drive via BMW NZ (form attached below) change-owner-form.pdf
  21. Agree that is nice. Also spotted this lovely (but absurdly overpriced) Individual 760Li. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-2672377374.htm Guess in Singapore (and maybe Japan) they might be a bit more common given how expensive cars are there anyway, an extra $10k SGD is a drop in the bucket. Hardly any ex-UK with individual interior...
  22. thanks @Olaf - I suspect that Elite have got someone in to do it, which may have been Airflowe (as that was who they suggested if I wanted to take full respray of front bumper option). Good to have choices though!
