BNT do redline. If its just a std open diff then any decent branded 75w-90 would be fine.

Blue interior remindes me of a japanese ricer, couldnt live with it myself.

Yes

Pretty sure it was always 30k

Certain models in the future i think will be. It is the last BMW build that had the classic BMW styling with good build quality and lower production numbers.
-
Just needs a manual box and it would be perfect.
-
Sure its old but id put money it on not breaking over alot of newer models.
-
Haha thanks Mark but i was just merely stating the reality which most people have agreed on.
-
Every E34 ive had or measured had the same bars diameter bars, 23mm F and 15mm R. I think bigger option swaybars were a rare option on a non M car.
-
Thats pretty bad. Most o-ring suppliers would be able to measure them probably stock them too. Ive got plenty lying around too as do alot of people.
-
No they don't meet my definition of rare at all, a BMW E9 for example would be a rare BMW to me. If by your definition very very different=having more options ticked, a few extras and a different motor then fine but it doesn't to me. I have driven one not that even matters here. Sounds like you should just buy it yourself since your clearly so gay for them.

540i uses a V 302 x 28 for front and V 300 x 20 for rear. Rear rotors were $300 for aftermarkets last time i priced them up.
-
So how exactly is a 740i completely different 750i? Ones just a higher spec'd version with more features and extra cylinders. My original point was its pricing which most people would agree on, maybe he's flexible on price i dont know. Its one of those cases where someone is selling a good example in the hope someone who really likes\wants a one doesn't care about paying more for it. As above 750iL's themselves aren't that rare or that sort after, that's a fact and the reason why i commented in the first place.
-
Look the same as M62 ones.
-
Since your planning on doing quite a bit id recommend getting a set of M5 sway bars, it's good noticeable upgrade that doesn't cost too much.
-
Yeah considering a new one is $60 more.
-
What sort of diff ratio is it running?. I remember my '92 750il pulled alot better with a 3.64(iirc) than my mates '89 750i with a 3.07 or something similar.

To me the Audi has quite a similar setup to the E39 while looking a bit more modern, i like both of them being a classic layout compared to a lot modern ugliness. I don't know about the Audi but the E39 is plenty comfortable for me, those Audi bucket seats do look like they give good support though. I think they are quite similar with the Audi being seemingly more civilized, refined practical performance and the BMW having the more traditional driving pleasure\performance.

E34 wobble over 80kph/under braking - FIXED

Ive had no issues either and good lifespan so i zero benefit for me buying expensive pieces of steel. Ive never had any BMW rotors machined as they are just too thin as Michael has said and cheap to buy anyway. 540i front rotors are alot cheap than rears. -
I never measured mine but yeah most E34 ive have had slight variations, iirc wouldnt have been much more than ~10mm thou. Different thickness spring pads can help even up things.

Yep glad some people what im talking about and it was regarding motorcycles which i thought was clear.

No its definitely a grey area as there is a way to do it legally( passing cars on the right within the same lane) but obviously that not always an option with cars positioning them selves all over the lane. Constantly switching from left, right and riding the middle makes it technically illegal but the safest option.
-
Ill usually pass in the same lane to move to front if a que of traffic stopped at lights(which is legal), or some one is going way under the limit that its just easy\safer to get by them and ride at speed limit. Lane splitting is a bit of grey area but usually as long as traffic is stopped or moving very slow and you keep you speed down then most cops are usually ok with it. Ive only really needed to do it in Auckland for the most part. Amount of car drivers that sit 1-2m off my ass is crash waiting to happen, plenty of stupid people in cars, trucks etc etc. Makes me laugh when people get mad because they cant do what a bike can do in their car.

Alot of Meyle stuff is manufactured in China so thats probably why they are cheap. I doubt they would be better than Boge but may possibly good for the price. Probably pay to do some research of them.
-
Maybe to some but 7 series aren't exactly easy to sell and i dont see that one selling in a hurry. You can pickup a very tidy 740i for 1\2 that price.
