By contrast I imported 235/40/18 & 265/35/18s PSS for $2200. 18 months back.( could not import or get re11) The PS4 which is replacing the PSS & PS3 is supposed to be better in all areas. At $1420 that's a bargain and looks the way to go next time. edit, looks like two versions of tyre ps3 becomes ps4 PSS becomes PS4s

That should not happen , did a groomer use the wrong product on the wheel ?

I've learnt slowly that certain battles aren't worth taken on. I will make no eye contact with the wife on this one nor push the subject. There will be no hiding of the car at Barry's

Was thinking of doing something similar (Auckland) . Wife is adamant that one of my minis needs to go though before replacing her car. Wants the room to open car doors which is fair enough. Good luck with you hunt.

Was it the blue 535d in Paraparaumu Mazda ? Was tempted to look, but wife is steering towards f25 X3 of late. Have you seen some of the super low km X5 4.8 on trade me ? Possibly a few $k per year in petrol. But must be offset by Little to spend in wear items . Think their is one with 22,009 kms

Check out Hataitai .Very close to city and motorway north . Cheap taxi ride from Courtney Place bars and restaurants if that's your thing. Bit of airport noise but that's the only downside. Most places seem to have garages . https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hataitai

The advert for these was filmed in Woodward street in Wellington. Remember 3 cars being part of it. Still have the postcards BMW was handing out at the time.

Vj still at page. He serviced my old e30 323i since it was brand new. Carried on doing so until it had done 330.000 kms when I moved it on. Only needed wear and tear items in that time .

In Wellington. White E30 316i first gen. Completely stock right down to the plastic hubcaps. Looked in execellent condition. Any one here own it ?

Got both re11 and PSS via tire rack in those sizes. Roughly $2.2k for the set with shipping and gst. Pitty the Re11 has become export controlled. Best tyre Ive had on the M3 thus far. Bridgestone NZ don't stock these anymore. Tried to get a set last year from tirerack Might pay to double check on Apex fitting tyres. I though they offered this service when their annual group buys came up on e46fanatics and m3forum forums. Plenty of people like the re003s btw. Think Bridgestone is running 35% off at the moment.

Michelin P4s hits the USA in March. Get those fitted before shipping as save some $$$ btw choice of good 235/40/18s , 265/3518s tyres very limited in NZ. Only tyres I could find locally where Pzeros , Re003 and RS3 semi slicks. I'd be inclined to see if Apex can ship with tyres mounted if those three don't suite.

Same, kept our UK bank account for same reason. Finding old school mini parts cheap at the moment.? Straight cut drop gears next on list !

Hard choice to transfer at the amount with the uk pound dropping of late.

Denison is another brand to consider. Gives you iPhone control , a USB input and an extra aux plus the usual Bluetooth streaming. If you add a mic it will also give you hands free calling via factory controls. Otherwise get the aux ashtray option which means no holes to drill. eg https://www.amazon.com/BMW-Auxiliary-Audio-Input-2005-2008/dp/B004QD89GE

Snap saw this in the city on way into work. Very nice with cool plate.

Thought it might be one of those one eyed posted like us e46 SMG M3 owners do all the time ? Perhaps the original 3.0 m3 will shoot up in value soon. Starting to become a rare sight these days.

Eh ? Flimsy body compared to e46 platform. No wonder it's 100kg lighter..... lower power to and tourqe weight ratio. Narrow track, smaller brakes ... / Who let Trump in here ?

Need a replacement insurer for E60 2009 BMW 550i
Neal replied to Benoire's topic in General Discussion
Used a broker for my motorcycle. JB insurance which are now ion. Was a race kitted Ducati and got quoted $2800 for $34,000 cover from State and a few others. JB was like $1200 . Had a great conversation with JB. Policy was also great as it cover items such as getting home , gear cover and funeral cover. Saw them replace a mates bike ( MV Augusta ) that was a couple years old at the time .$39k payout quickly settled. -
Need a replacement insurer for E60 2009 BMW 550i

To counter this my wife had a 318 e36 that we brought fior $12500 a number of years back. The car got rear ended and shunted into car in front . Wife suffered neck injuries as did the driver in the car she hit. Damage was extensive to the point of the tyrewell being buckled and rear door gaps had closed up. aurgued car should be written off. Policy was to repair the car even if it came to 80% of market value. They repaired the car and it went back a couple of times for overheating and sir con radiator According to the smash repairer the total bill ended being $11,800. I wasn't happy with the outcome as to me the rear crumple zone was now weaker. Car was put on a chassis straightener and crumpled boot area was pulled out by welding a block and tackle method. Wasn't convinced the car still had its full strength restored. A combo of new and second hand parts were used. -
Had one of those in my 1985 323i ran the gear posted earlier as not a lot of output from factory unit. if adding an aftermarket amp check that it has enough gain as the early pre out Din plug Alpines put out 500 millivolt. These do have 4 channel out.

That's a serious performance differential ! When I first competed in the Cliffhanger hill climb (748r)I was humbled by a 16 y/o on a RS125 who put the same time down. At this event you can enter on a road registered bike. Ironically the Rossi weekend look alikes on 1000 il4s where never to be seen at this event, Too busy sipping soy latees at some alfresco cafe navel gassing at their chicken strips and exchanging bus ticket bitch slapping tales of how fast they are. then you get a pro on a il4 doing it !

I reckon. I've had more favourable nods and waves from the fairer sex on the Duc than any other bike I've owned bike put together. Should have been the gsxr1000 from a performance pov . No wait... I'm off topic . Agree on opperator. Quite humbling when you thing think your a good road rider and attend a session where the Bernard team fly passed and are at the point of getting elbows down. anyway, thread is reminding me that my a series turbo project needs dusting of. Not a performance engine, but certainly built to push the power to double the factory tags.
