KiwiTT 23 Report post Posted November 21, 2016 Still waiting for mine to be ready, but wanting to build up my excitement. For me is looking forward to the driving pleasure I felt in the two short test drives, but doing it every day. What are your biggest pleasures of owning a BMW? NZ BMW 368 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 A day without a check engine light... Personally I like the quality of feel you get from the interior and build as you ride along. It's just a nice, comfortable place to be.

KwS 2425 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Its gone now, but the E36 M3.... that engine is a work of art. Revs like a Honda, but pulls like a freight train. Always amazes me watching the dyno run of my car, it just keeps on revving. It was also the small things, like the driver-centric dash layout, and the solid feel of everything (also applied to my E46 and E39)

MD13 494 Report post Posted November 22, 2016 Small touches. Example - warning light comes on and tells me the front left park light is out (which is very handy to know thank you BMW). Even better is the box of spare lights in the boot so I can replace it immediately and refill the box later. Oil filter location.

Apex 693 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 Mine, TBH, the E30 is the only one that was special. I really liked looking at it in the garage, Lachssilber Metallic on a E30 is a nice thing. So the look of a classic BMW.
