Do your seats have the m stripes, Dave? If not, there is an NZ product which will restore them well for under $250. Used it on my old 540i and it took 6-8 hours max and did a great job. Paul (Central3) put me onto it after he did his daughter's seats - http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/43406-leather-refurb/?hl=leather I've got their contact details somewhere if you want them.

I like it. And it is rare... How many 333i models has anyone seen on the roads? Can't comment on the build quality. Sounds like a lot of fun, though.

A mate of mine had an e30 325is ex SA. 2.7 litre parts bin special comprised of Alpina engine parts, M3 suspension and Aluminium Doors and bonnet. An absolute hoot to drive, combined with sharp handling. I wouldn't knock SA perfomance models.

your findings on your one set of RE002s are inconsistent with mine, i have had them on 4 of my own BMWs now and have not found your wierd tread wear. I replaced my most recent set with Contis, more expencive almost twice the price (if you were buying new), and i dont think they are any better. I almost always buy second hand premium tyres from dealers etc. quite often you will get cars come to NZ then the dealers upspec them with bigger tyres, then sell off the stuff they came over on the boat with. my set of Contis on my E30 right now were only 4 months old, and still had the paint on them. they were from a Polo or a Golf, forget which one. they had never been driven on basically. even had the usual wayward handling every tyre has when brand new before being bed in

The other problem is that your Atenza is modified. Its a huge risk for most dealers to take on modified cars, so you would need a niche dealer. Better off selling on TM.

The problem i see is that your atenza turbo and a e60 5er have totally different target markets. So any dealership that sells euros and have the e60 probably wont be that keen to take a turbo japanese car. Not saying theres anything wrong with your car, ive seen it and its cool but just will be a bit hard to find a dealer that does both.

Just installed the official BMW Motorsport cap nuts on my front struts - these are the ones that come with the official Motorsport strut brace and are much cooler than the standard 13mm self locking nuts.
