Just spoke to my cert guy and his words were "If you can't see it in a wof then you don't need to cert it " hahahahhaha wow. So much for clarification! But he did explain that if there's any cutting of the subframe involved then they wouldn't even cert it but because we're basically just welding a bracket on each side of the existing bracket and dremmeling the existing hole and putting in an eccentric bolt then no cert would be required,. I think the market for an M Coupe is quite small, they're a a quirky car and also this one is modified, an S50 model and LHD which doesn't help. The E46 M3 appeals to a much larger market.
This is the Cirrus one I was chatting about earlier - beautiful car, low Kms NZ new factory manual.
Looks really good, PFL 2 doors have a nice delicate / pretty look.

AFAIK, did some research into it (I wanted an excuse for Alpina stripes....), there was never an Alpina 1 series...
But this has me questioning that - That lip spoiler looks alpina, and the wheels look E87 offset (rather than E9x)...
Nice car (except the heinous wheels) - looks like a $15K car these days.
This guy also bought that Black E46 on ACS in one of the pictures a few years ago (I test drove it before buying mine) for $10K and listed it for a whopping (at the time) $15K soon after.
His M3 is for sale for $60K.
I'm guessing he is a not a 'motivated seller'.
If anyone is wondering about "aggressive-ish" fitment on the 1 series:
Just put on a set of staggered style 193's from a E9X 3 series on the E83 130i with brand new tyres (Laufenn LK03)
18x8" ET34 with 225/40 front
18x8.5" ET37 with 235/40 rear
Nice flush fitment and no rubbing on standard msport suspension
219,000km
Much needed wheel alignment. Didn't get the sheet but he said it was very 'out' . Tyres pumped up to 40psi up front and 36 in the rear, cars feeling great. Here's my photo assistant taking a smoko break.
Looks like I will be selling mine now too, 535i and will come with the Motorsport kit seperate, as well as manual conversion parts less gearbox and drive shaft. PM me if interested. Divorces are hard
