  1. I miss the days of the SA parts bin special’s i.e the e30 335i & 325is
  2. Clearly my sarcasm receptors were offline. I'm glad you're happy.
  3. Go to the envelope icon for messages, at bottom click 'Go to Inbox' scroll down and you should see a 'Enable my messenger'
  4. It actually read quite offensive.. "Well f!#k you guys, I'm a devoted Scientologist and all you naysayers are wrong. WRONG!" But then on 2nd thought I thought you may have been joking ? Probably were? On the 17th of April when you went read-only I think I may have clicked the wrong thing when I was processing the warning. Apologies for that, it was a cock up on my part. Anyway, you're obviously quite upset over this. From looking I can't see how to bulk unhide your posts, but have now revoked your post about the M3. I've also revoked your warnings. Let's try keep it this way ? I think you may need to re-enable PM'ing yourself ? I get this message when trying to reply to a PM from you. ""M3AN will not see any replies to this conversation right now, but they may re-enable the messenger in the future"
  5. Weird, you were warned twice in the political thread and then it subsequently restricted your posting and hid all posts started by you. I've re-instated your e87 thread, if anyone has the links handy to the other internationally acclaimed posts, link them here and i'll fix them. As per Glenn, the forum needs new leadership.
  6. You can usually get a bit more life out of the pulleys if you pry off the bearing covers and pack them with grease. That one sounds well passed it though. I definitely noticed an improvement doing the vanos seals with low end torque. Wouldn’t need to change up a gear anymore cruising up the harbour bridge at 80ish km/h.
  7. Fuel filters getting blocked i think is another internet myth. There’s a filter on the end of the pump to catch any larger particles, then there’s a fine media filter inside the fuel filter. Old fuel filters you’ll see black dirty fuel pouring out from the inlet side and clean fuel on the outlet side towards the injectors. You’d have much more pronounced symptoms if either of the filters were blocked. Still a good idea to change them though.
  8. Scrubbed it up really nice
  9. Seems like a minter but the full de-badge to me makes it look like a car that’s ready for a commercial where branding needs to be omitted. And really? You could have paid 5k to de-badge including the actual bmw emblems??
  10. Especially with the pus ca18.
  11. Yep will be sorting that when I can get more paint and possibly pickup some nicer rear door cards.
  12. Yeah these are anodised aluminium producing a fine chrome finish for a short period. Scuffed them up with 320 then a few light coats of etch primer, followed by some satin black. The pillars and pieces around the mirrors were just scuffed with 800 then a few coats of the same satin black.
  13. Got around to sorting out the crusty “chrome” window trims.
  14. Hey could you please update your original post with the asking price?
  15. What’s the plan of attack for cleaning/maintenance on them? Just wash with soapy water?
  16. Why oh why did they make the NSX in auto ?
  17. Can you give us some specific examples of that?
  18. Some more things to cross off the maintenance list. New rear discs and pads. Re-instated the wear sensor too. Very decently priced for the whole shebang through bmworkshop for gen ATE parts. Had an annoying issue with wind noise and a wee bit of water ingress through the rear door fixed window when washing the car, but thankfully not when raining. Was thinking it was the crusty window moulding, but turns out whoever replaced that window in the past didn’t use a thick enough bead of polyurethane. The glass was being held in tight by surrounding trims however not water or air tight. I was dreading having to cut the glass out but it just lifted right out. Put a pretty tall bead of polyurethane in an now she’s water and air tight.
  19. Nothing healthy about your comments all through this thread dude. No need to be salty that someone bought a car for cheap and is selling it for a higher price. As mentioned the market will decide. If you have nothing positive to say then move on from this thread.
  20. Am keeping an eye on this thread ?
  21. The modules go fast usually. Needs to match your car depending on if it had asc or dsc. My 01 530i wagon has asc where as the M5 has dsc.
  22. Try a new one. If issue persists replace with a new or repaired module. I can help get it coded to the car.
