Hey lads, Does anyone have some fan clutch tools I could borrow for a few days? (Box of beer supplied in light of the favor) Alternatively does anyone know where they can be bought from? Cheers

Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan and smaller model Fords have really sucked the market dry for the once Holden / Ford big saloon only buyers. When you get more quality often for less its hardly surprising what's happened has happened.

The talk is the best bit. I enjoy what the Supercar guys have to say. Quality blokes. -
1996 323i Coupe, Auto - 128,500km - $4500 Motorsports body kit Sport option seats Sport option steering wheel In above average condition for the age of the vehicle. Paint is in good order overall, nice vibrant red. Some chip here and there. Dent on rear right and there are a couple of dents on the tops of passenger and drivers door. Has had one owner since imported in 2006 for 10 years, the owner has left the country for work overseas & wont be coming back anymore. Couldn't find his service papers for such reasons but it has been looked after well over the years. Drives very nicely, no clunks or any such issues. Does have a minor shimmy at highway speeds, but I think this might be due to the tyres? Has had front lower control arm bushes replaced with powerflex bushes. Engine pulls well, recent oil change on 5w-40 Penrite. Transmission is smooth and doesn't have any jerks or slips. Has 225/50R16 Hancook Ventus II all round with 4-5mm tread remaining. Wof / Rego until May 2017 Firm on price, no swaps. Mike - 0223082594

New AMG E class *Goddamn* thats a nice car

They're okay. Pretty lame designs IMO, very awkward proportions. They had it better with the original W212 -
exhaust space and makes changing the diff so easy too.

Deleting the tyre well is one of the best things you can do. I did it to mine.

Exciting. Pleased to see this is going ahead. This E46 chassis has become one of the most lucky chassis out there with the engines its been privileged to have under the hood!
-
Looks good on stockies!

Good new for NZ though. Likely TPP will be gone following this.

Life is Choice - Trump & Pence won. Great middle finger to the status quo.

Must have seen the price of M3 E30s and considered his car to be priced based on their skyrocketing values. OR He's just keeping the wife happy showing it's for sale

Competitive or not, it's getting out there that counts

Will we be seeing you on the sunday meet with this new toy? -
The trouble with stainless is it loves to find weak spots and crack. The weight, driving forces and heat cycling aren't kind. I think it's beneficial having more flanged sections, using the BMW style ones, they tend to allow for some movement between the exhaust sections while keeping a good seal. More to the point, How does it sound? Post a drive by video!!

Did you apply to be featured in such an article?

Martin did enough research to make it sound like a less than desriable car unless you like big repair bills. Strikes me as a boring package when you could have a V10 M5 for the same or less money!
-
It really is the golden age of second hand option at the moment. 1990s were one thing, but whats on offer in the mid to late 00s is pretty exceptional. Cost and complexity of issues does go up with each year though, but if you're savvy enough and are prepared for the odd repair or two it's worth it!
-
Awesome, love these. Much nicer sound than the S85 M5 V10 engine Bring it to next months meet!

Looking for resonator like this style, as pictured. Or similar, let me know what you might have. E36 M3, E60 M5,

Crazy supercharged 2008 E92 M3!! Heavily modded ... $100K

Looks like a ricey 320i! Bet that engine is waiting to blow like a rice cooker too -
Could be a cracked subframe, can start on one corner. Have a look under the car and check the mounting points for the rear subframe. I've seen E36s do that because of such. If I recall, 3.0L M3s don't have the 3.2 EVO reinforcements to help stop this issue.

yeah, such a dosey engine, in sound and performance. Never stacked up to the original asking price! The V8 S62 would have made much more sense, especially as the CSi version. But then I suppose they didn't appear until the late 90s.
