3 pointsJeez... and it has cracks in the dash! You will have heard how in the diamond market there is actually almost limitless supply (diamonds are very common) but jewellers restrict how many are sold to the public so that demand and therefore prices stay high. We need to do this with E30's. Keep demand high, create a roster where we are only allowed to sell one nice E30 every year. Every buyer must commit to joining this group when they buy a car. Watch as prices skyrocket. We all become very rich. You can thank me later.

2 pointsNot a BMW sorry guys, but I am thinking of selling my Benz as I am about to move into my first home and need a little extra cash for stupid things like fridge, couch etc. 2007 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Flint Grey NZ New 118,000 kms Full Service History (serviced last month, everything required was done) 14 months full AutoSure Premium mechanical warranty remaining (covers pretty much everything!) Slightly louder exhaust tone than most (sounds incredible, but not overwhelming) Car is in mint condition, you will struggle to find anything wrong with this beauty. MB quoted performance figures: 514 horsepower, 630 nm torque 12.4 quarter mile, 4.4sec 0-100kph. First registered New in NZ in November 2007. WOF/REG til December this year. Tyres all round near-new. I chose this car after hunting around for some time, the decision being made when I saw the rare Flint Grey colour (99% of the ones you will see are silver, black, white). This is the best car I have ever owned by a long long way. Perfect for not only long trips down to the Coromandel, but excellent for city driving too. It really is the complete package. Bang for buck vs luxury & performance, for a top end German car - you can't go past the E63! For Bimmersport: $36,500 with personalized plate V8M, or $35,500 without.

2 pointsIt's kinda sad how blatantly the Aston Martin grill has been ripped off within the Ford Range. Ford Falcon, Focus and Mondeo all have it. Not cool.
-
2 pointsunsafe you would be mad to try and run like this. worth fixing wheels worth nothing..... let the market decide
-
2 pointsExcite. I do like your project. Have seen a few in this colour combo.. or I have seen your car a few places. Plus, the thread title always pulls me it. Cougars are a lot of fun, so much experience at that age, plus they seem to be very comfortable in their own skin.. even if that skin is a bit saggy in places.

2 pointsit infuriates me, and people have changed too. I am not the only one and i know it. you dont go into paknsave and take a box of weatbix up to the counter and find out what the price is. or even worse, say you want to pay $1, but they just give you no responce other than to say no. they have that magic $3.60 amount in thier head you just have to keep guessing. Same reason Tender and Auctions I didnt even bother going to the open homes when i brought my last two houses. If you cant tell me the price, i am not interested in doing the spade work for something that has a 50% chance of wasting my time. there are enough deluded people with no idea of real value as it is. mods please shift to rant thread. oh damn i am a mod lol

1 pointYeah, learned the hard way when i had my m62 valve covers acid dipped. They're made of magneseum and go all flakey.
-
1 pointYeah that's what I ended up doing too after the first two fell to pieces. Petrol works well!
-
1 pointAny idea what you'll replace it with? A Toyota IQ would be a good cost saver!
-
1 pointThe effort required is pretty low, but this is probably the best looking Falcon that Ford has made: Disclaimer: not saying this is an "awesome car", I just think they've done a good job and look better than any other Falcon and the current Holdens.

1 pointWatch out when you sand blast them, if they are the same as m50 ones they are made from muck metal and fall apart.

1 pointSo I recently acquired this 2004 325i genuine m sport wagon with 148 k on it for 8 grand. Im extremely pleased with it. It needs new front tyres and in dire need of a service but hey I'm not complaining. This will be the other half's daily driver after I am done with giving it a little maintenance and some aesthetic work Only a couple quick snaps but more to follow

1 pointExactly. Missed been blown up in London because I slept in a few years back. Brought a lotto ticket after and won exactly nothing ! Shortly after, on the tube system again, terrorist try again, but this time they get the mix wrong. Get caught on the other side of London which took the best part of the day to get home. Brought another lotto ticket....... Wtf , nothing again !

1 pointFront sway bar end links arrived from FCP Euro today so I put the sway bar back in with those... the ones that came out were dire. Back to non-bus handling!
-
1 pointnormal stuff when buying a used car. only fault i can find is a lack of sunroof and that its a 325 not a 330. but otherwise it ticks all the right boxes!
-
1 pointahahah, i can always get somewhere to etch an ///M into the 330 callipers
-
1 pointI would take a 325i SE over a M325i, at least its not trying to look fast so its less embarrassing when a family in a Toyota Highlander drags you off. Also, four doors are handy. 325i SE with Motorsport suspension and diff would do me.
-
1 pointOMFG!! What is that interior supposed to be?? Leather that looks like it's made of wood? The steering wheel alone would make me not want to drive that car. Imagine staring at that for hours on end... Got noticed alright, but not for the right reasons..ewww.

1 pointGet to work. Smells musty. Workshop flooded, lots of damage. Must have rained a lot when I was away up north. Subaru's. Second engine in six months, same problem, no oil pressure, blown turbo. Standing on side of the road on a rally stage again watching cars go past holding a sign that says OK. Having to reconcile a co-driver who has just spent 10k on a new engine and now faces a rebuild. Could have should have won our class too, some great driving in the morning.

1 pointPeople (usually a truck/ute/people mover/jeep) who feel the need to pass you, even if you are going 120KM and there is actually no passing lanes but dark nz country side highway thats barely lit full of curves and corners.

1 pointhttp://www.mcphailtyres.co.nz/ http://www.tires.co.nz/ http://www.trademe.co.nz/ edit: Me and my friend recently bought a set of new tyres from Todd @ Kiwi Tyres http://www.trademe.co.nz/services/trades/automotive/auction-857901471.htm Very nice guy and prices seemed very good! Tell Todd that Daniel introduced you and he should help you out.

1 pointHi Guys, When I said "... in the BMW world" I meant made by BMW. But o.k. How about this, I have always loved this thing. It looks like thousands of dollars and thousands of man hours putting this thing together, and if you hear the thing on video, it's pretty wicked.

1 pointNot a huge fan of that Maserati. They look like a huge Mitsubishi FTO, they are a massive car. I guess I don't like coupes that are big, GT's etc. I do hear the 2016 model is going to be reinvented as a proper hard core car though, so that should be interesting to see. Not a fan of the Jap car scene either, its probably more the people than the cars... But, I love this Rocket Bunny concept based on the lovely S14 platform, I'm sure most of you are familiar with it. Sorta had a e30 quality. Reminds me of Tony's project.
