5 pointsClassic. Was about to remove the fan and found a present from the previous owner. This must have been in since I bought 8er a year and a half ago. I guess a bump must have moved it so that it began interfering with the fan. The good news is the fan is fine. No more clattering noise!! Was right underneath so never noticed it before. Don't think the wife will be pleased when she finds out this was the reason we drove back from Napier on the hottest day of the year with no AC!!!

4 pointsBrand new aftermarket M3 sedan mirrors and glass. High quality reproduction and fitment is good. Electric adjustable, non-heated. Unpainted. Bought to adapt for my E31 but haven't got round to it. Subsequently picked up some coupe mirrors which a better size baseplate to adapt to E31. Will not fit coupe. Should add at least 20bhp to your 320i especially if you couple with some ///M badges. $200, maybe less if I like ya.

-
3 pointsIt's back. I just couldn't live without the wood in the 750i. Much better I think.
-
3 pointsThere was one listed last month, sold in days. UK import, grey, around $20k. Looked nice. You'll be waiting forever. As above, go for a 325i or man up and get a turbo.
-
2 pointsOr if you like maintaining two needy cars, buy the 335i and M5... ?
-
2 pointsall we need is a bmw powered bmw out there making waves! i think you have just the build steve!!

2 pointsWhat is wrong with this world, we have a group 5 replica project thread with 3 pages, then a myriad of threads with 10+ pages where people just talk about doing wheels and springs. Keep up the good sh*t Richard!
-
2 pointsI quite like that. I'd just make it look more standard specification. More TRD stickers though...

2 pointsHey guys, OCD done an amazing job. Pics below. https://www.flickr.com/photos/124552226@N08/sets/72157659379654453 As you can see the bottom of the front lip has some cosmetic damage, was wondering if anyone knew where I could grab a carbon fibre/black front lip to try cover it up
-
2 pointsI dunno, I think a nice Toyota badge would suit it down to a tee... All your potential problems will go away due to such a halo of reliability blessing the front and rear.
-
2 pointsYou might like to try DCH Motorsport for a PPI No guarantee they'll deal with you if you mention your Delica fetish tho

1 pointDoesn't have to be brand new - Let me know what you have and prices (Looking at you Ray and Brent ) Preferably 5 speed, Happy to settle for a 6sp one as I just want the lower height, heavier weight and nicer aesthetic appeal. Cheers
-
1 pointYes indeed, however i still dont really understand the drifting thing i like to go fast for lap after lap not 3 corners lol Theres a E46 drifter in Aus ive been talking with who runs the V10 its sound epic, my next plans are to get a mid 2000's DTM and drop a V10 in that but finish one project at a time me thinks lol

1 pointOnly issue to date is power steer pump failed, now its raining down there so lots of power is pretty useless. Daymon loves how the cars feels and its response to steering input he now needs time in the seat.

1 point^ yeah but they are pretty sht IMO. Even the low/mid $20s ones I have seen aren't great. You need to be mid/high $20s for a decent one (sticker). I would rather have a higher spec 325i for very low $20s, or less. (Unless you are looking to tune a turbo or something) I don't know a lot about the 5 series, but if you can handle the size, they do look like better value. I think even the e9x is too big personally, so a 5 series is too much for me.

1 pointSo I had this in and then out of e 750i. The display in the 740i has worked on and off for some time. Mostly off recently so I thought this would be a good option till I got a replacement. Now it's in there I really like it.. ha ha. Go figure. Maybe because the 740i has Black upholstery it suits it more.

1 pointDo you have a pic of the AMP? I have 2 that were about to get thrown away this weekend. You're more then welcome to have them
-
1 pointThanks for that Ron. Zero/Nathan, when you say inner gaurd, do you mean on the inboard side of the car eg the wheel tubs, or do you mean the outboard side of the wheel, eg inside of the fender? i assume its the former, but would have thought it would hit the shock well before it hit the body

1 pointI rarely freeze meat, it wrecks it I also rarely eat at home but for some reason buy meat every time at the supermarket Thus, I have eaten chicken a week past usebuy, Red meat lasts even longer one hour out the fridge is perfectly fine. Ask your grand mother (or great grandmother depending how old you are)

1 pointWith the E39 the audio runs through the main control unit, i.e. The Ibus / k-bus. I had something similar when I installed the aftermarket stereo in the E39, was static with almost no sound. Replaced the general control module with the donor car and it started working perfectly, even on the M3 steering wheel
-
1 point^what he said^ and they need to be hub-centric to the hub & the wheel. Rogue, Turner H&R do good quality spacers.
-
1 pointYes, Illegal without cert. Only some types are certifiable (Generally ones that bolt to hub and then wheels bolt to spacer are legal, simple discs are not)

-
1 pointcga, dealer warranty and AM mechanical warranties will all cover you. In any case, the answer is ALWAYS M5.

1 pointManaged to get the manual pedal box in last night. Bit of a nightmare actually, as I had to remove the entire control module with all its wiring, and then somehow manage to get the brake switch clip through the brake. All this was done with me lying upside down, bit of a head rush. Just waiting for the clutch kit now, so I can start getting everything back together and get it drivable again.

1 pointYeah I agree. As much as I love turbo's I do prefer that older BMW 6 sound. Even the old M20.
-
1 pointWord. Stop praying and go do something about it, and I don't mean change your profile picture.
-
1 pointCome on, that's pretty trivial isn't it? Do you call the toilet a ' white porcelain excrement collector' so you can get a better understanding of what it is so you can model your poo properly in it? Let's get back to talking about learning how to tune.
