    Another beauty from BMW Classic

Is it a case of grabbing all the keys and turning each car on one by one until you find one without a CEL, and drive that for the day?

Modified new cars like this are worth less than a standard one IMO. Each to their own I guess.

The Akrapovic exhaust doesn't bother me but the air suspension and ugly ass wheels can FRO. Also M5's are meant to be driven but hard pass on one treated like that

Ah this must be the one that featured in a video clip doing limiter bashing skids.

Uh, thats bit of a stretch. Nice enough car, but would be better without all the mods.

Yeah I am not sure if it's something to be proud of? I had one E60 M5 and I occasionally miss it but I'd rather have 10 different cars. But each to their own, good for you.

Back from Apex Automotive getting RTABs in (Meyle HD) and steering column change (was making a grinding noise when turning which turned out to be a busted bearing in the column). Car feels great - cheers @BMTHUG for the hard work and the pic

You could try these guys... https://www.merckmillipore.com/NZ/en/product/Formic-acid-98-1000-0,MDA_CHEM-100264#anchor_orderingcomp They have the good stuff and do a range of sizes. Only that is lab quality and will be priced accordingly. Cheers...

ask @Sammo about my vert, haha it's a bare shell at present! I'm restoring it completely, nut and bolt restoration

I think all those incremental bids were removed. But the bidding is up to $27k now and reserve has not been reached, so perhaps $25k was bid as it was the max that the bidder was prepared to go to ? Sometimes that is not a bad tactic if you want to sort the men from the boys Cheers...

@BMTHUG and @Gaz love to see photos of your verts

and the bidder only has zero feedback because of the negative feedback.

anytime bro. Your car is without a doubt the most beautiful e46 330ci I have ever had the pleasure of working on. Glad we got that grinding noise sorted. I live my e46 dreams vicariously through you now haha

99 problems and an E6x is guaranteed to be one of them. In all seriousness, damn!.

If you have 10 daily drives, how many weekend cars you got? 😂

truly outstanding commitment. i think you must have balls of steel to run an N62 as your 'reliable' engine.

I've just re-read the first post on this thread, from all the way back in July 2019, a whole two years and three months ago, where @Blackie had linked it for a new member. A FL manual 325i coupe with M-Tech bodykit (can't remember if a genuine M325i) for a whopping $15k. If one were listed for that price now then the seller would get trampled in the rush of buyers. Market price would be near double that now I would suggest, (or waaaay above if was an M325i) pretty good returns for anyone that bought an E30 as an investment back then. Conflicted views on that as I'm not keen on "our" cars being turned into investment items that drive the enthusiasts out of the market, but on the other hand makes mine worth more - not that I would ever sell them.

I have the same setup, so any questions fire away. I can’t take the credit for putting it all together, that was another member. I just dropped it into my compact

The wife has been borrowing the E46 the past 2-3 weeks driving through a construction site daily while her Audi gets fixed so its been uncharacteristically dirty lately. With the amazing weather, was high time to give her a good going over, also fixed a door speaker and sorted a little handbrake issue. Stopped for an impromptu snap en-route to the Supermarket - its been a while. Just doing a few minors on it now (RTABs / Alignment / Oil) as will be selling it on once I find an overpriced E30 for the next project 😢 I think she knows, was an absolute pleasure burbling around, turning heads in the sunshine, making me doubt myself...

This is my neighbour’s 70 series that he’s been slowly fixing up and loves. Stolen last night from Mt Albert, probably end up as parts or sold somewhere. If you see it, let me know, thanks, Scott.
