The HellBM built e46 m3 Touring replica (which I currently own) has the m texture interior also. I've been a full leather fan forever - but love this texture! I'm a convert.

It did about 380kms over the weekend, ran well and didn't use a drop of oil.

On the off chance anyone here buys it, I've got matching front seats I'd be happy to part with for the cost of the M cloth Recaro SR's I've just stumbled upon.

https://www.trademe.co.nz/3143175667 This seems like good buying. Nice tidy package. Alot of goodies as such. Couldn't build one for that price

Hey team! So, the drivetrain I bought didnโ€™t end up being a full drivetrain so Iโ€™m after a few parts to complete the set up: - Driveshaft/Propshaft for b25 + g260 - Manual Pedal Box - LSD med case 3.73 or 3.91 Send me a message please. Cheers

I have to say Promo is a whizz with Vehicle computer know how. Key recode in no time at all, plus some extra service thrown in. Recommend him for your needs. ๐Ÿ† a great contact to know.

Yup that was a very nice example that one. I did the engine and diff for it. Drives really nicely

I know the car from before it being registered, was in Dannevirke Damage flagging was parcel shelf cut for bigger speakers IIRC correctly it was a tarted up car from Japan and had a set of BBS RC304s on it. Nothing special to drive unfortunately, was a total let down for me

Sold inside a day... Not too surprised, seemed extremely well sorted and very tidy.

I've always been impressed with the E39 safety. One of the safest cars of the time.

CBS (servicing schedules) should work once the VIN is aligned. @HELLBM should be able to assist with resetting the EEPROM.

LCI cluster into pre-LCI, its plug and play but coding it to suit my VO doesnt seem to work as servicing schedules havent transferred over (and its still reporting the old VIN on the kombi). Some sorta tamper proofing, odo reads correctly though. Oil temp is on the OBD2 feed on pre-lci cars, DME must use it, and has the sensor, but the PID for it is apparently topsecret so its unobtanium in Torque etc.

Itโ€™s a genuine M3 and low Kms, but considering the other M3s that struggled to sell around that price, itโ€™s not an $80k M3. Down sides are: US Spec, non-original colour (big question - why re-spray, flagged as as damaged import..?), front seats (very hard to find genuine M3s), broken front bumper & missing tow eye covers & caps. Wheels on it have been sold separately, so it comes on what..? And this is just from the photos. Could be a good buy for someone, but not at anywhere near $80k, sorry.

No good down here on rural roads. Will just aggressively follow the ruts. But I can also honestly say I have never had understeer in this vehicle. Even on the track.

It's definitely firmer than a standard M3, but not uncomfortably so; no excess driveline noise in the cabin or anything of that nature. I've been meaning to update this thread for a while - recent (well, around a year ago now) additions include a CSL airbox (Karbonius). Some photos after a wash a while back:

Mission accomplished. The high pitch power on dentist drill whine at 100ish has gone, must have been the diff. All works good and feels tight as a tiger. Handbrake can now be adjusted properly, no more 5 click nonsense. Checked for 11s, satis.
