I guess it takes quite a bit to raise an eyebrow with an E36 these days... 1hp/kg should go ok.

Get your kids to draw a cock and balls and attach it as a .pdf, chances are it is never even looked at

Living with sensible(?) vehicles - E53 V8 and E60 M5...

Considering the total cost to maintain one of these like it ought to won't be trivial, do you think you will keep the X5 for much longer now the MBI has gone? -
Well in true German style, tonight the big bugger took the opportunity to munch it's water pump and dump coolant everywhere. There I was loading up some silage and *sniff sniff* waaait a minute, I recognise that smell...

John Deere suits the BMW owner demographic quite well, you will get comprehensively screwed come servicing time ? the twin cylinder Kawasaki engined ones seem to be the ones to get, I got mine (not a Kawasaki engine type) as it was cheap, low hours and local
-
John Deere is where it's at. Not that I'm biased at all...

You've got it, Kelvin- the studs are heavily corroded at the break and the other holes are out of round, indicating plenty of oportunity for someone to notice something before it happened. Jon, no sign of a vehicle or any debris... Or I'd have painted them a C&B on the windscreen

Found this beauty in the roadside paddock. Bet that woke them up when it exited stage left...

Castrol Edge less than half price at Supacheap

What kind of oil service interval are you running on the Leaf? -
Did this just turn into another unresolved secondary air pump thread?? ??
-
"Enquiry, price coming soon." And then, "from $135 per week", if you care to do the maths.

Technique and the right tools is key. I find if you carefully ballance a cold chisel on top of the helicoil- don't use a jig, it will compress and pull out later- you can use a club hammer to tap it in.

Have you seen @hqstu 530? it is in very decent condition and he has been quite unreasonable in how much he has poured into it. The level of care makes the km irrelevant in this case, I believe.
-
@Rob HB1 whats replacing it?
-
Don't start down that route... My replacement airbag means my dashboard now needs replacing as it looks too aged?
-
Yeah I solved that problem by not adopting any more BMWs ? @Arata get this thing compression checked. The symptoms are not convincing for HG failure. Also listen to B.M.W LTD, he's a grumpy old bastard ? but that's because he's been fixing these things since forever.

Two styles of photo taking on the dealers listings, probably two people taking pics.

Would it be fair to speculate the pipe next to the turbo has become weakened by the heat? Also... BMW and no warning when coolant low has been a recurring theme for quite some years now. I'd have thought they would have sorted a more robust monitoring system by now.

What is this winter you speak of, I got sunburnt today

Jeepers... Thirsty work, is it?
-
Excepting the meetings when they want to push through something controversial in a hurry... Those ones are closed.

Nice work, Stu. You'll have to get a bigger shed!

Rich will go on a diet.

It's brilliant. Such skinny wheels and uglier than any other BMW to date, also featuring odd coloured body panels... Good choice I reckon ? it's one of those cars that makes me laugh whenever I see one, like a Multipla or Vel Satis.

I didnt think that cheap nasty MOMO brand did RFT tires?
