oh man, that sucks. Hope someone buys it to build back up. Looked great when you had it! -
Only to satisfy your capacitor fetish

just be a real man and get a 335i touring

haha, im the opposite, i cant stand anything bigger than a wof sticker at the top of the screen. I generally take all the other servicing/tyres/crap stickers off.

thats one bloody tough looking car! With the splitter, did you look into matching the corners of the splitter to the curve on the corner of the bumper? Its a very harsh edge there otherwise. In regards to aero, it might be worth watching this too. Just because it looks the part, doesnt mean it wont ruin everything.

If its going to be tacky, it might as well be "straight from Aliexpress" tacky.

Could be good buy Manual E36 328 Cabriolet?

not that big of a deal TBH. its a dealer, most of them use software to place the listings for them. You'll find its common as mud for dealers to have listings like this. -

Waaaaaay off topic, 4WD Van buying thoughts

We have constant issues with brand new vans rusting, leaking, and generally just falling to bits. Hell, most L300s that came fresh off the boat went straight to the body shop for rust repairs. The older ones arent much better. The reason you see so many around? They were a lot cheaper for tradies than hiaces and the likes. -
Good choice, look forward to seeing the results!

Keep in mind with your new Ranger that if it has seat mounted side airbags the covers need to be designed to work with them too.

we use http://carseatcovers.co.nz/ at work.

The engines in the Mitsis are fairly tough, but agricultural (no refinement, loud, underpowered and not that great on fuel) and parts arent hugely cheap. Sadly on the Delica its the rest of the bits around the engine that are crap. I hear from a few owners that due to their age parts are becoming hard to come by used, and i know a lot of parts new are now either Ex Japan at huge wait times (upto 2 months for some simple parts like an indicator stalk), or are obsolete. They share some parts with old Pajeros, but once again its not easy getting parts for them either. Other than that, they look kinda cool and i hear they can be decent off road too. -
thats a bloody good price for km and condition. GLWS

also keeping in mind this one has been torn down and inspected. id say its a decent deal.

sweet jebus it looks good in red. Shame about the comfort seats though.

Being a Jap import, probably high operating hours, low KM.

would be easy to check with a fuel pressure gauge, wouldnt it? Watch for pressure drop at the rail?

Heres the link btw. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=980763491 Looks very nice, interesting with the quad pipes too. My neighbour has one in the same color and its such a stunning blue. Be worth paying attention for chain guide and torque converter issues.

jebus, 9K for a jap import PFL sedan that isnt even Motorsport? yeah, f**k that.

I run Falkens, good compromise between price and performance. Would buy them again without hesitation. Bet theyd be miles better than RFTs too.

metal in rad, drain and flush system. maybe check waterpump for failure. drop, drain and flush fuel tank. maybe flush hard lines. wheres the rust and how bad? is it just cosmetic, or will it become a structural issue? water in footwell is probably rust or sunroof drains if it has one leaky valve stem seals are a bitch, maybe do a leakdown and compression test to make sure the rest of the internals are good first. I know its hard, having so many issues, but i think with a bit of hard work and time (maybe some money) you should be able to get it into a state where you are happy to drive and enjoy.

i hated my 3.46 in my converted 323i, 1st was too short, and 3k rpm at 100kph sucked hard on the open road.
