  1. It probably is a $5k premium these days TBH (Coupe's any way) I track any *decent* manual 330ci's listed in case I have an insurance issue and they try to tell me my car is worth $7k... In last 6 months or so (yes, these are just asking prices but so is any price): $16,500 (dreamer but it appeared to sell) $13,500 (Beautiful car I've driven) $11,500 (High km average non Msport) $13,000 $15,000 (Imola 6 speed with heaps of work done) $13,000 (Nothing special car that sat on TM for a month) $13,000 (sold in a day or two) Most decent Msport autos list for $6-8k. But I agree, spending $7K plus on a manual swap isn't value for money, unless its a special example.

    Quick rant thread.

  3. Wagon seems like decent value, but you would need to want all the extras. Wonder what needs finishing / interior. Could look good sitting on some Alpina wheels.
  4. Haha, this popped up in my youtube feed today too. Cleeeeeeaaan
  5. Funny, I have a manual 330ci and am looking to get an E30 325i 2 door sometime. Finding a complete manual conversion is the hard part these days - I would expect to pay $2,000+ easy for a ZF Conversion - add a new clutch and flywheel and bits for another $1,000. Cert add $750. Workshop labour and coding, no idea - but I would factor on $5K plus to do it right. Make sure you also use an unmodified factory manual driveshaft too or you could need to add driveshaft hoops (like me ๐Ÿ˜ญ)
  6. Not BMW specific but a great way to spend 45 minutes IMO!
  7. Holy crap that is a lot of car for the money, an absolute neck breaker ๐Ÿ˜

Great stuff mate - guessing this is the white Coupe off Trade Me? Should go like stink once you sort a few niggles (hopefully just niggles).
  9. Special place in hell for these cretins ๐Ÿ˜ก
  10. My E46 has been making a rear suspension noise coming out of my drive recently so jacked it up to have a looksee and found my rear sway bar had popped off the endlink bushing on the passenger side. New Lemforder endlinks from a few months ago. These are the ones that simply โ€˜pressureโ€™ fit onto a rubber bushing - no buts and bolts etc Anyways, managed to get it back on, but it was weirdly easy and it moves relatively freely on the sway bar end now!? When installing I remember it wouldnโ€™t budge at all. I did use some silicone grease on it to get back on as I thought it would be a real nightmare - did I make a mistake lubricating it? Why would it pop off in the first place? Unevenly loaded? Drove it around the block and clunk was gone but concerned itโ€™s just going to pop off againโ€ฆ.๐Ÿ˜‘ IMG_2927.MOV
  11. Jeez - is it as tidy on the outside as it looks?
  12. @tman17 https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/3170733580?bof=s8seJ75B This looks great IMO - not too ragged out and ruined like most E36's. Great colour combo, even if the seats are tatty - I would not expect it to hang around long.
  13. Looks quite tasty IMO
  14. Holy sh!t thats some torque! absolute tyre shredder
  15. Heinous but a cool colour. Maybe it will look good in a few years -or in the flesh - as much as we like to talk crap about these new designs, they are made by professionals who 'know what they are doing' . Taillights sit way too low and headlights sit too high to my eyes. Weird.
  16. Condition is everything IMO. Could be a minter done really well or a ragged out rough swap with a G220.
  17. Just realised this is the one for sale on Trade Me ๐Ÿ‘Œ
  18. 261m are a good look too IMO and maybe easier to get seeing as everyone modifies E82 135is...
