Best go for a manual! I do wonder if the M3 has a better balance of power than the E60 M5. I found the M5 was just a bit too fast for NZ roads.

That's really not that bad at the end of the day. Folks are happy to lose far more than that on a newer depreciating vehicle.

Off my old 130i. Have Dunlop tyres that would probably pass a WOF but are way too old and should be replaced. A bit of curbing and a bit dirty but otherwise sound. I believe they are 17x7 and 17.7.5 ET47. I need them out of my garage. Come and take them away, or if you feel guilty about taking them throw me some gift beer/bourbon or up to $50.

Yeah if I buy a mini it will be for commuting once a week to Auckland and perhaps punting the toddlers around in the back. I expect a Mini would use 1/3 the gas of a Maserati. Not to mention the mileage depreciation!

Nah didn't get a go before it got crushed. He had a Mk5 and seemed to like it, got a tune and everything. I think they are fun car to hoon around town in due to boost and a snappy gearbox.
