After 50,000km of nary a single drop of oil used, and having an engine that could double as a Driza-Bone, I sadly found the garage full of smoke this afternoon. Couple of drops of oil on the top of the undertray directly below the front turbo, and a very wet looking line as per the pictures. Kinda hard to picture with a torch in one hand and a camera in the other, but I suspect this is the oil feed line (#3) in this picture? http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E90N/Europe/335d-M57N2/R-N/feb2011/browse/engine/oil_supply_for_turbocharger/ It's very much obscured behind the turbo heat shields etc etc so will need to investigate in the morning when the block is cold, but does this sound right M57 gurus? cc: @HELLBM

+1 on stock mapping. I've gone back from 790Nm to stock on a 335d and you honestly don't miss it in the real world. Throttle controller is nice to have when you're in the twisties but pointless day to day.

The Flossman GT2 kit has never gelled with me. By all accounts a seriously quality bit of kit, as you'd expect for some 12K Euro, but it just doesn't work on a road car. Interesting choice to respray a Frozen Edition car, could we infer that a Singapore paint scratchier ruined the initial paint job and this is the end result?

Got a complete square set of 5 I'd part with. Fully refinished when on the 3.8 M5 but removed when they were swapped for a staggered set. Car was sold with the staggered set so these have been unused for a few years now. Comes with the tool to removed the Throwing Stars as well, as the bolts are an unusual size. Fully refinished with Continental MC6's tyres and a Dunlop SP Sport Max on the spare. No Throwing Star for the spare as per factory. One single rock chip across the whole set of 5. Also have two full sets of centre caps for these if anyone is after a set - one used, one NOS. They're in storage in Auckland let me know if you want more photos. $4K

260/5 gearbox is the biggie - 1st 2nd and 3rd are slightly shorter than the usual 260 ratios. It was standart E30 option though, and there are a couple of NZ New MT2's with it.

Was set at dollar reserve, went for that, and then quickly onto the fballs buy sell groups for $12.5k and sold again. And now here.
