1 pointLooked a long time before settling with these wheels, close second choice being APEX wheels. These should be quite similar in terms of strength and weight. Super light. Model - Sportline CS.16 18x9.5 ET22 5x120 Comes with Hankook RS3 265/35/18 - probably around 2-3mm tread Photo below on my car when I first got them. Some curb marks but otherwise straight. Aggressive fit on E46 M3s and will need front camber plates, and I was running 12mm spacers at the rear if I remember right. These are low offset ones and have lots of concave. Some reviews/info https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=902502 https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=721934 http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=381628 PRICE DROP $1300 Pick up from North Shore, Auckland. Will try to find or take more photos

1 pointBeen working through the todo list on this, knocking a few more items off each night all going well. Also fitted a spoiler off an Altezza, a cheap option and doesn't look too bad to me, and motorsport from and rear bars Just need to bleed the brakes and clutch, finish off the throttle pedal I'm making, tidy up the exhaust and weld the diff, then it'll be ready for the Autocross i'm entering on the 9th of March. After that, I'll strip the car down, get the roll cage built, change the suspension over for my rally setup, LSD, paint & stickers etc. Will also do a M50 intake change around that time.

1 pointYeah, XS2545 - the ones that are supposed to be on the red 430. There's also a taped off badge, guessing it has 430 on it too

1 pointPicked these up on eBay. BMW original and brand new for under $100. Also thought I'd show off my sparkling clean engine with her new turbo coolant hoses.

1 pointNot so sure about NZTA not wanting to know, the onus is always on the importer to provide the information to meet the requirements. There are too many "cowboy" importers that buy things without checking and then try and bullshit their way through the system. Unfortunately there also appear to be a number of cowboy compliance agents that either don't know the rules or are easily persuaded to put things through even though they shouldn't. Hopefully the review at NZTA will catch a few more of these outfits out. The fact that this car has plates on it but hasn't been registered suggests to me the owner has a very liberal view of the whole process.

1 pointDamn shame about the papers for the Maser, and the whole NZTA 'don't want to know' attitude around such things.

1 pointI know you don't want to spend money but a scanner is going to be your most effective solution here. Otherwise you will be spending money on parts that are not needed

1 pointHe put so much effort into commissioning the build and it is a great result but I don’t understand why you would go and sell it. Maybe I am too sentimental and closed off to new experiences! Been driving an e38 for 13 years!

1 pointTook the 'vert on the BMWCC run down to Port Waikato. Lovely day for it and a great drive to a cool cafe. After an issue with one of the tyres on the Alpina rims presented a problem and required a last minute swap of all 4 wheels and tyres over to my race rims everything ran smoothly. One hundred and fourty mile round trip in good weather and never missed a beat, very relieved and very happy. Did more miles in one day than over the last three or four years. I do really need to use this car more.

0 pointsCool car, mental money as per usual on E30's. Bit useless on the description, noting in the text body and a lazy photo of some older listing as a photo of the advert, presumably from whoever he bought it from.
