3 pointsGot around to fixing the passenger side 'pork chop' this weekend. Had a much better line up with the rubber piece on this side. Before: After:

2 pointsSome interesting machinery in the car park at the Ruapuna Skope Classic yesterday, including 4 x e46 M3s, and a brand new (Jan 2020 rego) Porsche Speedster, complete with fire extinguisher and racing number. As usual, the Spectator''s cars were just as interesting as the ones on the track!

2 pointsI bought a 1999 Volvo V40 2.0T only the B4204T unfortunately, the later models have high pressure turbos and an extra 50hp or so. Cruise control, leather seats, manual turbo with heaps of space for $1400, and i love it.

2 pointsYes was 18k initially, seller is covinced his car is worth more than the market is offering. Was tempted at 18k but this type of behavior on top of the 45 day list time just pisses me off.

1 pointNo recalls to date in my ownership - 2001 330ci... Not sure, I always thought it related to drivers airbag, so possibly the passenger is the new recall?

1 pointEpic job Sam, can’t say how impressed it was in person, great outcome makes a special car
-
1 pointYes, I have to agree, the interior looks even better in person than the pictures above. I'm not sure I'd have the guts to attack the leather like you did but the results are amazing. Props.

1 pointI want a fiat multipla so bad, its just so ugly that i must have it. Triple front seat is so practical. Ive decided im going to buy one.

1 pointOne of 13 NZ new manual 130s.... Interesting it didnt get the aero spoiler, only one Ive seen that didnt have it. The rest of the options are the same as mine, its only roughly 150 units post mine which was built Dec 05 and 06 registered in NZ. $7500 is stupid cheap. Just looked it up in NZTA records, 2 NZ new in red, one manual. For the future reference, EZJ977, in 20 years when they are worth 50k and people are arguing about if they are really worth that much on futurebook

1 pointTidied up and installed some Bosch smiley's in the wagon today. These replace the bullseyes which were a touch faded and some of the adjusters a bit rusty. Made me happy (excuse the pun). Will have think about whether I put the washer system back in also but it does look cleaner without it.

1 pointI also think people just got tired of his antics. I lost interest in it as soon as it was relisted for a month and a half.

1 pointFinally, after letting it all dry / cure for 5-6 days, I reinstalled the interior (not much fun), gave her a good groom and a photo shoot. I'm stoked with the colour and quality, there are a few tiny areas where I would have liked to do a better job but you would only notice by having it specifically pointed out and eyeballing from 6 inches - for day to day use it perfect and my wife thinks I'm crazy to think otherwise. The colour is a great, classic navy / tan combo with the orient blue and IMHO has enough wow factor without getting into 'marmite' territory. Only issue I've run into is my airbag light is now on, I believe due to switching the passenger and driver seat bases with the passenger occupancy sensor no longer in play. Hoping I can clear that and get the sensor delete thing from Ebay / TradeMe. I'm a little anxious to see how this wears - supposedly should be good for years (we can but hope) - at least this car rarely see's passengers and I now have the perfect colour match for any driver seat touch ups that may or may not be needed in the future. Its been finished 3 weeks with daily driving and several beach trips (i.e. wet, salty bums) and looks perfect. Final pics once completed - looks and feels better than most new cars inside now.
