Oh yeah, another thing to keep an eye on; Mine made a real loud ticking at idle at one point, turned out the fuel cap wasnt 3 clicks tight and the fuel tank breather valve in the engine bay was ticking like mad. Maybe see if you cap seal is perished.

Mag Monster and a scrubbing pad is the only thing that has touched my baked on brake dust, but it will dull the paint on the wheels because of the scrubbing. Maybe see if any groomers near you use a wheel acid and try that?

Tried contacting the provider of the warranty, ie: BMW if its a manufacturers warranty? Most manufacturers are real finicky when it comes to their own warranties, and will look at any out possible if something goes wrong and you havent had it done by a dealer on time every time.

+1 on Mag Monster. I've been through a bottle and a half on my wheels which were a previous owners track wheels, so baked on brake dust everywhere, and they're almost silver again. Normal wheel cleaner didnt touch it. If it dries it says to wet it with more MM before washing off, but i'd do it in the shade to be safe. From To

Wholesale dealers like that buy the rubbish the dealer that traded it doesn't want to deal with themselves. They pay almost nothing for them. I'd keep looking unless you can chop a decent amount off that price.

FDM 3D printed parts are good for prototyping or home experiments, but should never have been used in a production part like that. I guess the proper OE trumpets are injection moulded or similar?
